Annual Multigenerational Events

Redeemer hosts a number of events for church members and members of the surrounding community to gather together to build relationships among the generations and to have a great time together.

Multi-Age Sunday School events are hosted during Sunday morning education hours when students have been off from school (such as MEA weekend, Spring Break, Christmas Break, etc.). All are welcome and encouraged to take part in these events.

Redeemer Night Out (RNO) Roundup takes place each fall to help us start a new year of RNO programming. We share a great meal, make S’Mores, take hayrides, participate in a petting zoo, play games hosted by LADC, play on large inflatable bounce houses, and have an all-out great time together.

Advent Fair is an event that helps us kick off the Advent season. Participate in games hosted by LADC, share a wonderful meal, and come to Advent worship.

The Redeemer Ice Block Party is hosted around the same time as the St. Paul Winter Carnival. Participants have the opportunity to meet the St. Paul Winter Carnival royalty, create an ice sculpture with the help of a professional ice carver, play winter games, create winter crafts, and enjoy a pizza lunch together.

The Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner and Talent Show takes place the evening before Ash Wednesday. Help us enter the Lenten season by enjoying a pancake and sausage dinner, then share your talent (or come and enjoy the talents of others) at our Redeemer’s Got Talent variety show.

Family Fun Sunday is an annual themed event where families of all shapes and sizes can and play games together, enjoy a potluck, and just relax while building relationships with one another.  Wii games, a kid friendly movie on the “Big Screen”, board games,  and arts and crafts are available for folks of all ages.

The Redeemer Peeps Diorama Contest takes place on Palm Sunday each year. Create a diorama based on a Biblical story or Bible verse using Peeps marshmallow candies. Prizes are awarded for the most outstanding peeps displays.

Spring Fling--Join us for a night of fun, food, and fellowship as we celebrate the last night of RNO for the year. Dinner at 5:00 followed by a host of events for all ages including a staged act—music, comedy, or theater—to close out the event.
